Women in Business

One Door Closes and Another One Opens….

At one point in my life, I was not a mommy…. I worked in the area of education and youth media…… then I had my daughter in 2007. A year that started without me knowing that I would become a mommy by the end of that year…….but as one friend told me years ago… “you never know how life will turn out”…… All thru my pregnancy with her… I began to see the world thru a different lense… a mother….. I thought of mother earth and what we could do to live more eco-friendly and green…. eventually the idea evolved to an online store that provides baby and toddler clothing made from 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton… http://www.goldencurlytail.com…… which launched in December 2009, just one week before the birth of my son…….. Golden Curly Tail was open for business from 2009 until 2015.  After 5 years of managing an online clothing store as a mommy entrepreneur while holding down a full time job, and vendoring at festivals like the Birth and Baby Fair in San Francisco and San Mateo, the Albany Arts Festival, Appel and Frank’s Baby and Babe Soriee, and various other venues, Golden Curly Tail’s online store officially closed for business effective June 1, 2015.

If you didn’t get to see one or buy one, you can hit me up to get one of the remaining shirts left.

So, I’m ready for something new…. as a single mom with 2 kids….
